On Wednesday 12 August 2026, the Moon completely covered the Sun in Suðureyri for 1 minute and 46 seconds. The timings were known to the second. The weather forecast stayed uncertain to the end. -

Act Alone 2026 in Suðureyri
From 6 to 8 August 2026, Suðureyri gave three days to theatre, music, dance and family events. All Act Alone events were free, and the programme also included a solo performance in Polish. -
