A new summer season is beginning, and much has changed this year. I have moved from Suðureyri to Reykjavík, but Súgandafjörður remains a place I call home.
We are finishing the first of what I hope will be many free resources introducing people to this region.
The leaflet will be in A4 format, folded into three sections. We want to print it on waterproof paper so that it is not just another piece of paper that people throw away, but something worth keeping together with their memories.
The idea is that the leaflet contains basic information that is most important for visitors. The QR code will, however, lead to a full guide with a map, hiking trails, and photographs, which we will continue to expand and update over time.
I believe that information about driving from Ísafjörður and the tunnel traffic rules is among the most important information for ensuring the safety and comfort of drivers.
I would be grateful for any comments or suggestions. We are still settling on the paper, and the final approved version will go to print as soon as that is decided.
