For the past seven years, Suðureyri has been my home, and its wild, breathtaking mountains have been my playground. I’ve hiked every trail, explored every ridge and valley, yet I’ve been frustrated by the lack of a truly accurate topographic map. This absence compelled me to create one for Suðureyri, capturing the true essence of the landscape. With this project, my goal is to create the most precise and captivating topographic maps and guides for Suðureyri and later for the Westfjords. These resources will inspire deeper exploration, foster sustainable tourism, and ensure that the natural beauty and cultural heritage of this remarkable region are preserved for generations to come.
